This Privacy Policy describes how Rui Ling Technology Co., Ltd., trading as DIYKeycap (“DIYKeycap,” “we,” “us” or “our”), collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit diykeycap.com, contact us or purchase from us.

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use our store, we may collect:

• contact and account information, such as name, email, telephone number and password-related account data;
• order and delivery information, such as billing address, shipping address, purchased products and transaction history;
• payment-related information processed by Shopify and payment providers. We do not directly store full payment-card numbers;
• device and usage information, such as IP address, browser, device identifiers, cookie data and interactions with the store;
• communications, reviews, support messages and fraud-prevention information; and
• customization files and instructions, including artwork, images, documents, text, layout choices and production notes that you submit for a custom product.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to provide and improve the store; process payments, orders, custom production, delivery, returns and support; communicate order and service updates; maintain security and prevent fraud; comply with legal obligations; and, where permitted, measure performance and provide marketing or personalized advertising.

3. Custom artwork and uploaded files

Uploaded design files are used to review, produce, fulfill and support the related custom order. We do not publish or use a customer’s private custom artwork for public marketing without permission. Access may be provided to employees, contractors and production partners only as reasonably necessary for these purposes.

You are responsible for having the rights and permissions required to submit and reproduce every logo, character, photograph, illustration, font and other element in your file.

4. How we share information

We may share information with service providers that help us operate, including Shopify, payment processors, fraud-prevention providers, production partners, cloud and file-storage providers, customer-support tools, analytics and advertising providers, and logistics, postal and customs partners. We may also disclose information to comply with law, protect rights and safety, complete a corporate transaction or follow your instructions.

5. Cookies and analytics

We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep the store functional, remember preferences, understand traffic, prevent fraud and, with consent where required, measure or personalize advertising. Browser controls can block cookies, but parts of the store may then work incorrectly.

6. Marketing communications

If you subscribe to marketing, you can unsubscribe using the link in an email or by contacting us. Transactional messages about an order, account or service may still be sent when necessary.

7. Data retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, meet legal and accounting duties, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. Custom files may be retained for fulfillment, reprints, support and recordkeeping, then deleted or de-identified when no longer reasonably needed. No security system is perfect, but we use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards.

8. International transfers

DIYKeycap sells internationally. Information may be processed in Hong Kong, mainland China and other countries where Shopify, production, payment, hosting or logistics providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection; withdraw consent; opt out of certain marketing or targeted advertising; or appeal a decision. These rights may be limited by applicable exceptions. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

10. Children

Our store is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted information should contact us.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect operational, legal or regulatory changes. The revised version will be posted here with a new last-updated date.
